On Nova you can see a List of Claims in two places ; Home Screen and Nova Menu Option
On the Home Screen
you will find a View of recent eGOS Claims ;
Use the date fields above to change the dates as needed to check back further in time.
(you may need to scroll down slightly to see this.)
This is a good list for Claims during the day, the more comprehensive list from the Menu is described further down this page.
This will by default show Unfinished Claims - claims incompletely filled in Data Entry in Progress, also any Rejected Claims.
Data Entry in Progress - Click on Edit to Finish Claim and Submit once Saved,
Rejected - Claims check the Error Message given and Edit - to correct then Re-Submit. (see Help page for this).
Ready for Claim - Claims that have not been submitted, waiting for Submit
Top Tips
- Send Claim as soon as Ready.
- check for Rejections during the Day, get Optom to correct
- Get Optom to Sign first Claim
- Aim to clear all todays Gos1 and Gos4 claims by the end of Day as signatures are needed on the day.
- Locums are responsible for any claims for the day(s) they work so must finish claims.

Nova Menu - eGOS Screen
Claims can also be seen on the separate eGOS screen, Which can be accessed from the Nova Menu
This is a larger window, by default also be showing Unfinished Claims.
Note - you can change the view here to show Finished Claims from this screen to see Claims that have gone through, click on Finished button as below.
This will show 'Accepted' or 'Payment Sent' claims;
Accepted - Claims will go for payment later, grouped by month.
Payment Sent is final Status. Practice will be paid for this in Monthly amount, claim will stay on Patient record.
To clear Unfinished :-
Data Entry in Progress - Click on Edit to Finish Claim and Submit once Saved,
