The application version number is shown below the 'Log In' button on the login screen, it begins with the date in the format 'YYYY.MM.DD'

5177ExamsA new Exam compoment has been added to record PDs in the consulting room. It is also possible to record notes and use the Paragraphs feature.


The same 'split' function applies to the PDs in the exam as currently applies to entering PDs in Dispense (a value over 39 will be split in half across both eyes).

The entered PDs can also be used as merge fields for populating email or letter templates.

When creating a dispense, the PD values are automatically populated using the patient's most recent PD measurements (taken either from the exam or dispense)

You can add the component to your exams during an exam, or add it to your exam setup so it can be included by default on a new exam. You can do this in the Settings, by going to Settings -> Exams -> Exam Tabs.

4946OrdersNew options for printing orders have been added.

Dual A5 is now an option for all orders (Spectacle, Contact Lenses and Custom).

There is also an option available for a 'Folded' order style - which can be printed in A4 or A5.
All of these printing options are compatbile with the Nova Printing App so they can be sent directly to your printer from the browser.

5684UsersA new role permission has been added that allows staff to Close Any TaskThis is useful if you assign a task and would like to allow your staff to close the task once it is complete.
5794DispenseIt is now possible to view an image of the frame in the Frame Selector while dispensing.This featrure provides you with an opportunity to show the colour option of the frame to the patient to inform decision making.

Frame images are available for some downloadable catalogues only.

5964Data MiningNew Data mining filters have been added to enable you to futher narrow down your results.


This update includes the addition of 'Dispense Type' so you can find all patients who have had a 'Reglaze' or a 'Remake' dispense.

5943DispenseNew Dispense Merge fields have been added.

This enables you to futher customise your templates and pre-populate them with fields from your dispense records, including frame details, lens details and measurements.

There are also merge fields available for the patient's previous dispense.

5099OrdersIt is now possible to filter the active orders list by multi-selecting the Order Status.

5762OrdersA new 'Quick Status' option has been added to the orders list. This allows you to update multiple orders to the same status in one process.

To use this feature, you should select the orders you wish to update, then use the 'Quick Statuses' button.


Select the statuses you wish to be applied to the selected orders - you can choose more than one and select the order in which they are applied. e.g. For our selected 'Auto created' orders, we can choose to update their statuses to 'Placed', and also then 'Received'.
This means it is no longer necessary to open each order to change the status. 
5956SettingsThe Active/Inactive flags in the Settings have been standardised to make it simpler to use and see the status.


This change applies to in-line editable tables.
