How to find the 'App Version Number'

The application version number is shown below the 'Log In' button on the login screen, it begins with the date in the format 'YYYY.MM.DD'

5071Dispense

The process for 'Remake / Reglaze' has been improved, with a new window being added allowing:

  • A reason to be defined (new reasons can be added in settings)
  • Choose which Rx to use: current pair or latest exam
  • Items to copy / keep
  • Prices to be copied or changed
  • Notes to be added

5282Patient Record

It is now possible to change the 'Default Branch' when editing a patient record.


This function is protected and users will need to be given permission, within their role group.

 

5583Recall

We’ve simplified the workflow: you can now copy Recall Schedules across recall categories with the new Copy and Paste buttons in the table.

Schedules can be copied between branches.

5671Order Report

Folded orders will now use the printer selected for Orders in Device Settings. When this is set to Ask, users will be prompted with a print dialog.

5711Reports

A new report has been added 'Stock Age', which will list all items with a stock movement record within the specified date range.



5720Stock

When transferring stock between branches, the barcode of the stock item being transferred is preserved at the receiving branch when the new stock record is created IF the barcode is available.

6016Examinations

We’ve refined the UI by removing the extra Right and Left titles from the Rx clinical component, as they were no longer needed.

We’ve refined the user experience by updating the button labels in stock records to make their purpose clearer.

6117Signature

To streamline workflows, any capture screen will now automatically open with the Signature Pad method when Signotec is selected in Device Settings. This includes Sign for the Day, patient records, and GOS forms.

 

6132Examinations

Clinical procedure names can now contain a question mark.

6145Appointments

We’ve enhanced appointment slot splitting so you can now choose how many slots to create and how long each one should be.


Simply select Custom for complete flexibility over the new slot layout.

 

6147eReferral

Once an eReferral has been sent it is now locked so that it cannot be mistakenly submitted again

6150Transactions

It is now possible to sell an item with a zero retail price.


Users will need the 'Sell Items for £0.00' role permission assigned to them first. The default setting is off.


6151Recall

We've added a new sorting option to the recall screen to make navigation easier.

6162Online Booking

Online booking system improvements:

  • Added an ‘Abandoned Bookings’ log to capture bookings that were not successfully completed by the user. An entry is created once the patient enters their details and is removed automatically when the booking is completed. The log can be accessed from within the 'Activity Log' section of NOVA by clicking the 'Abandoned OB Requests' button (restricted to optinet staff members and those users with the practice manager role)

 

 

  • Introduced a green ‘Finish’ button on the final screen to clearly indicate the end of the booking process.

 

  • Added step indicators to the top of each page to show users where they are within the booking process.

6165Examinations

Added a Page Loading message while the examination record is being created, providing clearer feedback to keep users informed.

6169eGOS

The eGOS signature link is now available as a merge field, allowing it to be sent to patients even after they have left the practice.

Note: The link is valid for 24 hours and will only work if no existing eSignature is already on file for the patient.

A note has been added to the screen showing which characters are allowed in an SMS message.
