This guide will take you through the process of how to copy the downloaded spectacle lenses in order to use them in FLEX. 


To access this part you will need access to the Setup of FLEX, specifically the Orders Setup. If you can, then please proceed, if not, please ask a staff member that can access this part of the system.


Please proceed to the following section of FLEX: 


Menu > Setup > Orders > Lens Catalogues > My Lens Catalogue. Then please follow the steps below: 

You should see something like this:


  1. If you click on the Supplier drop-down on the right side of the screen you will now only see the Essilor supplier (if you have others that is fine, choose the supplier relevant to you). As seen below.
  2. If you select Essilor (or whichever supplier you are going to use) this will list all of the lenses that have been downloaded previously.
  3. You have a few options with how you make these lenses available for your dispenses:
    1. Copy All - This will copy the whole catalogue to your available lenses, it can be quite a lot of lenses with some suppliers. 
    2. Right-click copy to my lens catalogue - This will copy the selected lines to your catalogue if you know which exact lenses you want to use. You can multi-select (control + left click or shift + left click)
    3. Right-click copy to custom catalogue - If you have a custom catalogue then can you copy selected lenses into this specific catalogue.
  4. For this guide the whole Essilor catalogue has been copied, this is what it will look like

    Notice that the lenses are all available on the left side of the screen, these are now available to use within a dispense.



PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BUTTON 'DELETE ALL LENSES' WILL DELETE EVERY SINGLE LENS YOU HAVE COPIED TO YOUR LENS CATALOGUES.
