This guide will take you through the process of how to download spectacle lens catalogues in FLEX.
To access this part you will need access to the Setup of FLEX, specifically the Orders Setup. If you can, then please proceed, if not, please ask a staff member that can access this part of the system.
Please proceed to the following section of FLEX:
Menu > Setup > Orders > Lens Catalogues > Hawkstone Lens Catalogues. Then please follow the steps below:
You should see something like this
- Once you are at the screen above, find the catalogue you wish to download. For the purpose of this guide, the Essilor catalogue will be downloaded. Simply single left-click the Essilor catalogue, as seen below
- Then click on the 'Download Updates' button. Then click on Highlighted Only
(if you choose ALL or In-use only you may well download more catalogues than you initially wanted) - You will notice a few boxes appear as FLEX is going through the process of downloading the catalogues and all the necessary files.
As you can see below the Essilor catalogue has now been downloaded, it also notes the date on which you last downloaded it
