Statuses
Accepted | The claim has been passed by PCSE and will be sent for payment later - see below. |
Awaiting Review | The claim has been submitted but not processed - use 'Refresh Claims' and click on the claim. |
Cancelled | The claim has been cancelled - will not be paid. |
Closed | Claim closed - will not be paid. |
Data Entry in Progress | The claim form is incomplete. |
Draft | Claims will need to be completed online and printed off for posting. |
Error | Problem with Claim - Call Support for help. |
Failed Validation | An issue with a claim - Call Support for help. |
Ready for Claim | The claim is complete but needs to be submitted to PCSE |
Rejected | The claim has come back with a problem after being submitted - needs correction & Re-Submit |
Sent For Payment | The claim that was Accepted has now been sent off to NHS Accounts Dept -this happens once a month. If the date is missed, the claim is (usually) paid Next Month/Next payment run. |
Submitted | After being sent off this status briefly is set before Awaiting Review |
Terminated | GOS3 takeaway -claim going to other practice has Code needed now - claim can be now printed |
Validated | Brief status when a claim reaches PCSE |
Withheld | Problem with Claim - call Optinet for advice |

Claims that require attention
In Business Intelligence > eOphthalmic Claims, there are two groups "Finished" or "Unfinished" claims.
Unfinished claims - These claims require your attention, they will NOT be paid. This includes previously sent claims that were rejected.
Unfinished is the default view, those Status are highlighted in the list below:
Finished - These are claims that have been completed meaning they will be paid or about to be paid.
eGOS Widget
The eGOS widget on the homepage gives a nice, accessible list of all types of claims with current Status.
