FLEX allows you to create your own WIP statuses, to personalise your order progress. There are certain flags that must be assigned to a status (Collected, Cancelled etc.).

You can check which status you have flagged as 'Cancelled' by going into 'Setup->Orders-General->Order Statuses' and locating the line with cancelled column ticked.

 


To cancel an order, update the 'Work in Progress' to your 'Cancelled' status.


  • Firstly find the order you wish to cancel ('How do I Find an Order:'), either by order number or by viewing all orders for a specific patient.
  • Right-click the order and select 'Update WIP' or click the 'Update WIP' button on the toolbar


  • Select your cancelled status from the drop down list of statuses, you can add a note / reason why the order has been cancelled in the notes box



Marking the work in progress status as cancelled will make the order inactive and will hide it from the list of orders, you can choose to include inactive orders by selecting the option to 'Show Inactive Orders' on the left menu.
