Regulation 19 of NHS (Optical Charges and Payments) (Scotland) Regulations 1998
Paragraph 1(b): Replacement – contact lenses: If only one of a pair of contact lenses is replaced the voucher value is £58.15 (increased from £57.00). These provisions for contact lenses only apply to clinically necessary contact lenses prescribed by the NHS Board.
Paragraph 3(a): Where more than one repair is made to an optical appliance, the total paid must not exceed the aggregate of the amounts for replacing two lenses, and repairs to the part of the frame must not exceed £15.10 (increased from £14.80)
Paragraph 3(b): The maximum small glasses or special facial characteristics supplement payable under paragraph 1(1)(e) or (g) of Schedule 3 in
respect of the repair of any one appliance must not exceed £65.50
