If you haven't already setup FLEX to receive scans from 'FLEX Scanning' then make sure you follow the steps in How do I setup scanning to 'Hosted FLEX'


  1. Open 'FLEX Scanning' 
  2. Ensure your document is loaded onto your scanner
  3. Select your scanner name in the 'Scanners' section
  4. In FLEX, find and display the patient record you want to link scans to 
  5. Set your preferred scanning options (colour & resolution)
  6. Press the 'Scan' button
    1. The patient details will refresh to show you are scanning to the correct patient
    2. Your document will be scanned, saved and automatically uploaded / added to the patient record in Hosted FLEX

The 'Upload Queue' shows how many scans are waiting to be uploaded, the queue refreshes every 30 seconds and should return to zero once all scans have been completed
