When an item is sold on the Till or Dispensed, the discount will automatically be applied. On the example receipt below, the Solutions button was pressed:

The Discounts report under Business Intelligence - General Reports will detail all Discounts through the Till (manual overrides) and Loyalty (auto-applied) grouped.
