Coloured stars can be added to patient records to flag them for a particular reason.

The stars have no inherent meaning within the system. They can be used for any reason you wish.

For example: Patients who have special requirements like wheelchair access or patients who are

    valued customers etc.

You are able to search for all patients with a particular coloured star through Data Mining, so stars can also be used in a similar way to the lifestyle categories in this way.

When adding or updating a patient record, click Stars on the top menu bar and select the required colour to add a star. To remove the star, simply select the same colour again.

The star will be shown wherever the Patient name is displayed, such as in the Dispense, Order and Till Screens, and most importantly when booking an appointment.
